All you will need is some fairly narrow guage wire,some Phalaenopsis Orchids and of course, candelabras! The mirror plates and table scatter are optional. Each centrepiece should take no more than 5 minutes to prepare. Full credit for this needs to go to my Mum, Hazel, as it was her idea.
Step 1: Remove the Orchids from their stems by cutting them.
Step 2: Cut the wire into lengths of about 75cm
Step 3: Thread the Orchids onto the wire through the base of the blooms, leave about 10 cm between each bloom. Twist the wire to keep the blooms in place.
Step 4: Add beads in between the blooms for extra bling if you wish!
Step 5: Drape over the arms of your candelabras
Step 6: Place the candelabras on a mirror plate and add table scatter
So there you go, master florist standard centrepieces in a jiffy for much less than the cost!
